SET 3
-------
This set depicts the Leeds city center high street. What i really like about this set is the fact that you can recognise some of the buildings, obviously you have to look but once you see them you know exactly where you are. this means anyone from Leeds can actually relate to standing where i stood. Again the colour scheme works well against the background. My only issue with this set is, although its nice, it isn't that interesting. also the lines are a little too thin, which means you do lose some of that detail. I really like the perspective shot though and i think it works well when taking a picture of the high street, i love wide angle shots and i think it does the city center high street justice in capturing everything. also with a wide angle shot it means i can also capture te other side, so essentially both sides just mimic each other but have different buildings.
Also what i like about this set of cards, is the fact that people take the buildings along the high street for granted. When you strip away the shops and the people you can actually appreciate the architecture for what it is. And underneath it all are some amazing and beautiful buildings. I think it is important for people to see behind the shops and actually appreciate the old buildings for what they are.
