After taking the rough designs that i have done before, i then went on to finalize my designs. All of the posters would be printed with the appropriate UV Inks in order to get the colour. What i have added to the designs is the 'ANTI SEX TRAFFICKING'. I feel the posters needed something more to tie into what the whole things actually about so it makes it clearer. I have faded out the text in order for it to be seen but not until you have read everything else. The Logo and the "ANTI SEX TRAFFICKING' would be printed using normal ink so that they could be seen at all times, however the actual text would be printed using the ink. I want them to be printed onto a white substrate, matt so that they stand out and it links with the white billboards. I am actually really happy with these designs, i think they have achieved what i wanted them to which is to have them simple but the message to be seen bold and strong. I didn't want to overcomplicate the posters as they would be read in clubs/pubs and the general audience there would be under the influence of alcohol so they need to be clear, and read easily.
I am also happy with the posters that have just used the image of the face, taken from the billboards. The image itself is very powerful and can stand alone. I have altered the colours on it to slightly mimick what they would look like under UV light, as i would be printing them with normal inks. I would also spot varnish the logos on all the designs so that they would stand out against the rest of the images/text as they are the key to what's holding the whole product together.
The posters would be printed on A2 size and with my designs i have added the crop marks in order for cutting the paper down. When printed they would obviously be printed on an A1 in order to get the right size for the A2.
For my range of posters i decided to do 4 posters, two with alternate text on in different colours, using the same layout. Then two using the face, one standing alone with the face and then the other i have added the "ANTI SEX TRAFFICKING" this is because i wanted it all to run together and thought adding the text would just give a bit more depth to the poster and make it more obvious what it is all about.
