Poster Development

After working out what the layout is that i like, the next stage is to look at the scale of the text in relation the the size of the paper. I have altered the colours slightly to the UV colours i would be using which are blue/purple/red. Here i have just done purple and red as you can see the blue with the logo design.
With this design the text is too small and it doesnt work. I dont
like the combination of faded text and then the bold text, they
dont compliment each other like i thought they would. Also
the design looks to gentle with the combination of pale text and
small type. The Logo immediately jumps out at you as well taking away
from the text.

Here i have just changed the logo colour to see if it
interacts with the text better but to be honest i think
the first points i made with the previous poster design still
apply to this one.

I really prefer the text being bigger in this design. It
immediately draws your eye to the poster and what it has
to say. The colour also looks better bigger it doesnt look
as friendly as before. I am still undecided about whether to have
the text underneath in bold and another colour as i still
think it detracts from the main message as you read it first and then
why i would be asking the question. Because its already smaller
i don't think i needs the added colour to make people read it.

Here i have just changed the colour of the poster.
I prefer the read colour it makes it look more 'dangerous'.
Red is an emotive colour which is what im trying to do, draw emotion
out of the person viewing the poster.

These last two designs are what i am looking for, for the poster they are simple and pass the message on which is exactly what i want them do to.
Also i had an idea for the 'What would you do' and that is to spot varnish it on the posters in order to make the sentence stand out. The posters still need a lot of work but this is the basis that i am going to be working on from now onwards for the type design.
