Bottle ident

It was quite hard to do my bottle ident because firstly i really didn't like the bottle asset i had created. I also didn't really like the water. But it was useful putting the first video together because the structure and the movement of the animation was what i wanted to achieve. It was similar to structure i had outlined in my storyboards.

So i went back to the drawing board and decided to redraw the bottle. one element i hadnt even throughout about, which is fairly important to a message in a bottle. Is the message in the bottle. Once i had added this to the animation as well as some more detail it looked a lot more appropriate to the design and style i had created for the other idents and title sequence.

I really prefer the water bobbing across the screen but i am still not 100% sure whether its actually appropriate and works. this is something i am defiantly going to ask about in my crit. However i am happy with the overall concept and how you can clearly read the titles at the end.

Getting the bottle to bob naturally and move fluently was actually quite hard.
With the first try i had the key frames too close together so it bobbed too fast, so
i decided to spread them out. This worked a lot better, giving the animation a more
fluent flow.

The next stage was getting the camera to pan right with the
bottle as it moved closer to the screen. I needed it to bob so that
it would still look like it was in the water.

The combination of the movements has given the animation
a natural bobbing and slow flow across the screen. The
only problem i am having is the fact that im not sure about the
water lines. I like the small thin ones, but the one surrounding the
bottle it just doesnt look quite right.
