Transitional assets

Tuesday, 1 February 2011

I have put together the assets i am planning on using within my title sequence to form within the transitional periods. I have timed it so that roughly each transitional section is around 1/3 seconds long. So that means that the assets couldnt be over complicated otherwise they detail would be lost because the sequence would be too short. I already know for the type that i am going to animate in the similar way to the way i have been animating the type with jack etc.
As for the imagery, i want the movements or effects to be fairly limited and easy. This is because of the limited time they have to animate, i don't want them getting lost.
My plan is to have the ship asset slowly bobbing along the shore of the island. This will just draw the eye to a gentle set of motion, so it isn't too distracting but interesting to see.

Again as i have already mentioned the plan is to have the text animated using the mask off tool, and having the type appear in a staggered fashion. this means it's in-keeping with the style and the audience will know what to look for.

This is a skull drawing i had drawn a while ago, it was just an idea and i wasnt sure i was going to use it. But i actually really like it, its simple but it shows elements of piracy that havent been shown within the title sequence already. Thats why i am incorporating it.
