After my last post i decided to get all my camera angles fitted in the sequence so that after that all i would have to worry about was bringing in my assets and animating them. By doing this it meant that i could structure my animation and the time scale. In order for it to work i had to work out what was happening when and how it was going to happen. So in the video there are large pauses when things are going to be happening. Some animation will be happening when the camera is moving slowly, but for now it outlines the action sequence. I am really happy with the way the camera moves around the map and the fact you can still see the detail on the map, with the outlines etc. It has shown me that i will need to get little things to have in the in-between transitions so it isn't visually boring.
Perspective of the island is in the distance.
Camera zooms into the island and begins to pan to the left
Zooming in with the camera and using the position tool
to align it to the bottom left corner
Camera stays for 5 seconds until the blackbeard animation has
stopped.
Camera then pans to the right, across part of the map.
Here a transition image will happen (port royal)
Camera keeps panning to the right, where jack sparrow
animation will happen. stays stationary for 5 seconds.
Camera begins to pan up and left, another transition image will be
here (Ship bobbing).
Map pans to the left and stays stationary making the image
of Long John silver, also another transitional image of
Tortuga.
Camera zooms and pans to the left.
Crosses across the mountains, formation of the 'channel
4 productions presents:'
Camera pans up revealing another transitional image (Skull)
Camera moves down and left, revealing the dotted lines.
Camera jolts around following the dotted lines.
The Top 10 forms here too.
Camera pans to the middle of the map
As its panning to the middle the camera zooms out.
Camera fully zooms out revealing map with all assets on display.
