With this animation i had added the other assets i had created that would appear within the transitions. I wanted to get everything down before i edited my already existing assets. I really like the assets that are in the transition phases, they give the viewer something else to look at, so it keeps them engaged the whole way through. The sequence itself is slowly but surely starting to come together.

As the assets are starting to come together the main thing i have found is my organisation of the layers and the compositions has become imperative to remeber which bits were what and what each bit did. So the best way to work out everything was by colour coding the layers and keeping the folder i was using all  organised so that i wouldn't suddenly loose some files.

KEY:
Peach = Text, either drawn or type on AE
Sea Foam = Other animated assets such as bobbing ship and skull
None = TOP 10 animation
Fuchsia = Long John Silver animation
Aqua = Jack Sparrow
Yellow = Light
Red = Camera and layers i need to change
Blue = Audio
Purple = Blackbeard comp

Slow show of port royal added to the sequence. As the camera pans
you can see the beginnings of the type forming

Camera does move a little too fast across so you cant
read it properly. which isnt great so i will have to slow
it down.

Ship bobbing across the sea, again using the path tools
and rotation to give the natural movement. I realise
its all vectors so i just needs to give an illusion.

Top left hand corner. Tortuga is added to the sequence,
using the same style as the rest of the type.

I wanted the tortuga to form before the end of the long john silver
sequence so that not too much draws the eye away from
the main part of the comp.

Here i added the skull, it gives another variable for the
viewer to see and keeps them watching. By adding these assets at different
times keeps the viewer wondering whats coming
next.

I changed the opacity so that it faded in and out.
Gives it that smokey feel to it, foggy look.

Here i added the 'x'. It gives so much more to the
sequence. It also appropriately finishes the map lines.

I added the top 10 in here, again using the same style.
Im not sure about this to finish it, it just doesn't seem to
fit right. I think i am going to have to revisit it.
