Further Research..

Towards then end of my research project i had pretty much narrowed it down to two subjects that i really liked and found interesting and that was Shakespeare and Human rights charities, involving the human slave trade and sex trafficking. After speaking to everyone in the presentation it became clear that i wanted to follow the Human Rights Charities because it's a cause i really believe in and i didn't know how extensive it actually is. So i have decided to further my knowledge and research within this area. I am going to look at the global charities and what they do, such as amnesty international and unicef. But i want to focus my project closer to home and what is happening in this country now. I think my project is going to be about informing people, so i need to get as much stats and figures to back up what i am saying. I want to create something that will give people the opportunity to do something but not making people put a lot into it as people are generally quite short of time these days.

Summary Of Presentation

Tuesday 21 September 2010

The presentation went really well. I wrote down 10 positive things that came out from it:

- Well prepared
- Thoroughly researched
- Clear Dialog
- Everyone seemed to be interested, wanted to know more
- Interesting subject topics
- Good analysis
- Not too long
- Concise presentation
- Like the fact I focused on tow main projects
- Know what was more successful

I had a good response to my presentation, everyone seemed to enjoy it and they seemed to understand where i came from. I actually really enjoyed doing my presentation, i felt i had research thoroughly and therefor my confidence in my subject topics was good so i could just talk. The presentation also helped me realise where i wanted to develop my research, by talking to everyone and discussing the subjects it was clear i was more passionate about researching 'LAST' (leeds anti sex trafficking), and everything to do with the human rights charity aspect. I think this is because its something i can really get my teeth into and maybe do a lot for it.
