Green and Blacks Ticket Design Prints

Tuesday, 15 March 2011

I printed off some examples of the tickets onto some clear vinyl adhesive  that i would later cut out and place onto some stock that would replicate the idea of the ticket being shiny. Much like the golden ticket. What is good about he qualities of these prints is the fact that its very reflective making it shine and glow when light hits it, this makes it visually appealing.

I printed a range that used the grey background to ellicit the idea of it being on a silver stock. This worked quite well, you can still read the text and it looks luxurious. One of the main reason i also printed off the layouts was because i needed to check that everything was readable. I know I had used a small point size so i was worried people wouldn't be able to appreciate the hierarchy, but as it was you can read everything which is great.
I also printed off some without a background. So they were completely clear. This worked better than the ones with the grey background. It also meant that when i did place them on the stock you would be able to get a feel for what they would actually look like and how well the shiny paper still comes through.
