Timetable

After settling on the brief, the next stage was to work out what we wanted to achieve over the next few days before our first crit next week. After trawling through the brief we decided that the best idea would be to start researching Green and Blacks and associated products. This would involve looking at both primary and secondary research. The ideas i've had to look at for research so far are:

Green and Blacks - product analysis
Green and Blacks - what they've already done
Associated chocolate brands and advertising
Competitors
Successful chocolate campaigns
Gorilla Advertising campaigns with chocolate
In-Store shops and campaigns
Packaging for chocolate (unique)
Hotel chocolate
Thorntons -- Green and blacks strikes me as the sort of bland that wants to be a cross over between Thorntons and Hotel chocolate.

Again these ideas are very basic for research but it will give me and insight into what is happening around us now and what is actually successful.

We agreed that by Tuesday, we wanted to have a set idea of what we are going to do and where we will be going. So our research needed to be done by the end of this weekend.
What was also useful was that we both have skype so we can actually have a face to face chat about what we have found and ideas we have thought about so far. We have arranged to do this on the saturday evening.
We have also discussed going into Leeds City Center to go and investigate Green and Blacks and their competitors, such as Hotel Chocolate, we are going to do this by Friday.
