In-Design Brief

Monday 17 May 2010

I wrote an article about Charlotte incorporating everything she was interested in. Within this article i decided to talk a lot more about the artists she was interested in order to may tell her more about them that she may not know and to also help inspire more people, as Charlotte as been. I had never heard of the artists she liked and i found the interesting, there was a lot of similarities between what i liked and looked for in a designer as well as Charlotte.

I broke the article down within 5 sections:

Charlotte
Paper Cutting
Pablo Alfieri
Craig Ward
Anthony Dart

Within each my main aim was discuss them as equally as possible. Which was good because i had quite a lot of information within each. What i also thought was important was to get a quote from charlotte about what she thought of the artists herself, so it was all personal to her and her views.

Looking through Charlottes blog, i also started to begin seeing a trend of style, which was quite a lot of lowing shapes and patterns, that were elegant and extravagant. I also managed to work out what she thought of colour and the use of it, which was important for my article because i wouldn't want to use loads of colours if she hates it.

The next stage was to start trying out a couple for layouts, because i had worked out the information i was going to use and i had an idea about the images i would want to use and from their take the final design on.
