Pagination

Pagination task. 

We had to put together 4 double page spread that contained the content of a whole article on pagination. Which is the process of breaking up text into a readable manner. I did two separate designs for this. The first i focused on producing like a readable article. 

I did dual coloumn because i wanted to split the text so it was more readable. I chose to work with Minion Pro at 8pt with 10pt leading and 11mm margins. After the discussion today i have realised that it is better to work with a singular coloumn and try altering the leading more so as to fit more within the space. 

The second one i did i focused more on the layout of the article opposed to the readability. It does look a little confusing but i was playing on the words 'make the reader more cross eyed' from the article itself. Both have given me experience in working with large amounts of body copy.
