Cannon - Ident

Here is the storyboard i created for this idea. Simplicity was the key......






With this ident its all about the cannon and the interaction with the type. firstly again i think i am going to change the cannon to the ship, it just gives more to the concept. Also the cannon ball isn't moving as smoothly as i wanted it to, which isn't great. It doesn't have the natural feel i am trying to create. So this is something i am defiantly going to have to look into. However, i am happy with the overall concept it just needs some tweaking. I think the audio works well with the piece too because it makes it eel light hearted, and with this sequence there is no action happening to incur any other feeling.

Cannon rolls from the side, small roll.

cannon fired across the screen and its a little too big a loop.

The ball drops here, but its slowed too fast and looks unnatural
so i will need to tweak this. But the general ideas here.

Ball falls daintily across the 10 and is meant to roll and fall
off the 1.

Ball slots and falls between the letters, this actually
looks natural.


The sequence for it falling, is natural, i think it still
needs to be smoothed out.

The end titles are clear. Everything is legible and it 
read clearly when stationary. I made sure there was a
second so you could read it.
